In September 2023, LaunchGood celebrated its 10th birthday. What had begun as a platform designed to help creators and entrepreneurs raise funds for their creative endeavors had grown into a crowdfunding behemoth trusted by major players in the charity sector, from United Nations agencies, such as UNDP and UNRWA, to Islamic Relief. Even as the platform achieved major milestones, raising over half a billion dollars from 1.5 million donors, an urgent pain point became clear: the product just wasn't designed for its most active users.
